Krisnick - Chalkware Chick

Original creation by American artist Tom Panetta

This little chick is one of Tom's a limited chalkware pieces. Using a vintage chocolate mold, plaster is used to form the figure then it is hand-painted and embellished. This small piece measures approximately 4 inches high, 4 inches wide and 4 inches deep.

Krisnick folk art pieces are hand sculpted, one at a time, using an old time method that combines clay, paper and plaster. Each piece is is hand painted, individually accessorized and finished in a 5 step antiquing process.
